Lucia is a firm believer in the power of grateful living.  Her abstract works represent the joy one can derive from simple, everyday moments.  

Her process in applying paint through hand-carved stamps symbolizes her view on day-to-day life. The stamps are balanced but imperfect, the marks are repetitive yet uniquely beautiful, symbolizing the beauty of the everyday that could otherwise be seen as “mundane.”  Light reflects off of pearlescent acrylic paints and embellishments of gold leaf, representing life’s glimmers.  The layered and varied application of the stamps produces a bright, fresh pattern meant to bring each viewer joy.
